A phone call from Carl delivered words she’ll never forget: “It’s gone.” Their home had been lost to a fire. That pivotal moment, combined with the changing landscape of the travel industry, led Jane to pursue a dream she had held since childhood: a career in real estate. Inspired by a family friend in England who sold beautiful countryside homes—often with horses and dogs—Jane took her first step into the industry with an interview at Retter & Company.
